KIA AMERICA POSTS BEST-EVER NOVEMBER SALES
Kia America announced best-ever November sales of 56,703 units, an 8-percent increase over the previous November sales record set in 2016, and a 25.1-percent improvement year-over-year. For the second consecutive month, sales were led by the Sportage family of SUVs, which were up 144-percent over the same period a year ago. Sales of Kia’s electrified models – which have posted double or triple-digit gains in the past five months – also contributed to the record-breaking performance with a 133-percent year-over-year increase.

KIA AMERICA HERALDS START OF 2023 CELEBRATION WITH NATIONWIDE TOUR OF ICONIC TIMES SQUARE NEW YEAR’S EVE NUMERALS
Kia America kicked off an early start to celebrating the arrival of 2023 with a nationwide tour of the iconic Times Square New Year’s Eve Numerals that will illuminate New York City’s Times Square on December 31, when the Ball Drops and the New Year begins. Yesterday, the 2023 Numerals departed the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and began a coast-to-coast road trip designed to bring the excitement and anticipation of the New Year to people across the country. The Numerals are being towed by a 2023 Kia Telluride X-Pro, and along the 2,795 mile journey, the 2023 Numerals will stop in exciting locations in conjunction with special holiday events to help share the anticipation.

KIA AMERICA DROPS LATEST DIGITAL COLLECTIBLE AS PART OF “LEGENDS OF THE DRIVEWAY” CAMPAIGN FOR THE NEW TELLURIDE
Kia America is continuing its foray into web3, which incorporates concepts such as decentralization, blockchain technologies, and token-based economics, with its “Legends of the Driveway” NFT collection in light of “Giving Tuesday” on November 29. The project is designed to help drive fundraising for MobilizeGreen, a national nonprofit that has engaged more than 2,500 young people of color in paid “green” and STEM-focused career-pathway internships in collaboration with government agency partners since 2014.

KIA AMERICA ANNOUNCES RECORD OCTOBER SALES
Kia America announced record October sales of 58,276 units, a 3.9-percent increase over the previous October sales record set in 2020, and an 11.9-percent improvement year-over-year. Led by the Sportage family of SUVs, including the Sportage HEV and PHEV models, which were up 118-percent over the same period a year ago, October sales were also boosted by a 101-percent year-over-year increase for Kia’s electrified models. In addition, four Kia models posted double-digit sales increases, including: Seltos SUV (37-percent), Forte (19-percent), Sorento (18-percent), and Niro (16-percent ).

These record-breaking performances are fresh on the heels of record August sales achieved by the brand. Kia America announced best-ever August sales of 66,089 units, marking a 22-percent increase year-over-year. Kia’s SUVs continue to shine with the Sportage as Kia’s top-selling model for the fifth consecutive month with 12,986 units sold, representing a 59-percent increase year-over-year. Sales of the Sorento SUV increased by 114-percent year-over-year; and sales of the current generation Telluride continued strong increasing 18-percent year-over-year and just months before the highly anticipated 2023 version arrives in dealers. In addition, August sales of Kia’s all-electric and hybrid models increased an astonishing 151-percent year-over-year.

KIA AMERICA ANNOUNCES JULY SALES
Led by the all-new Sportage SUV, Kia America today announced overall July sales of 62,449 units. Available in gas, hybrid and plug-in hybrid drivetrains, the Sportage SUV posted record July sales of 11,985 units and continued its four-month run of selling more than 10,000 units per month. Sales of the Sorento SUV, which is also available in gas, HEV and PHEV configurations, increased 65-percent year-over-year. Overall, sales of Kia’s electric and hybrid models increased 86-percent year-over-year.

BEST-EVER MONTHLY SALES FOR ALL-NEW KIA SPORTAGE IN JUNE
Kia America today announced June sales of 65,142 units, an increase of 12-percent month-over-month. The all-new Sportage SUV posted all-time record monthly sales total of 14,153 units. June also marked the third consecutive month that sales of the Sportage SUV exceeded 10,000 units contributing to record high SUV ratio of overall sales of 71-percent. In addition, Kia captured its largest share of market ever beating the previous high achieved in July 2021.

Kia America today announced May sales of 57,941 units with the Niro family of hybrid, PHEV and EV models posting best-ever May sales, up more than 28-percent over the previous record set in 2021. In addition, the first full month of deliveries of the all-new Sportage HEV charged ahead in May, with 2,417 units sold. Sales of Kia’s electrified models were up 132-percent over the previous May record set in 2021; and up 5-percent over the all-time monthly sales record for the vehicle category set in March of 2022.

KIA AMERICA’S FEBRUARY SALES UP YEAR-OVER-YEAR
Kia America today announced February sales of 49,182 units, up 2.3-percent over February 2021. Monthly highlights include sales of Kia’s EV models marking their best-ever monthly performance and shattering the previous record set in September 2021 by 181-percent. In addition, sales of the Niro line of electrified crossovers saw a 40-percent increase over the model line’s best-ever February sales total set in 2017. The Telluride and K5 also broke previous model-specific February sales records by 13- and 5-percent, respectively.
