For 2015, the Kia Sportage continues to offer an impressive feature set, robust performance and modern styling. Recently recognized for the second consecutive year as the top-ranked small CUV in J.D. Power’s Initial Quality Study (in a tie), the Sportage carries over from a year of updates, including notable exterior revisions and a variety of comfort and convenience enhancements. The Sportage is offered in three trim levels– LX, EX and SX– and offers two powertrains: a 2.4L GDI I4 (LX and EX) and a 2.0L Turbo GDI (SX).

Coming off a record-breaking sales performance in the first half of 2014, the Kia Soul has been named to the list of 10 Best Back-to-School Cars by Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com. All new for the 2014 model year, the Soul sold an individual nameplate record 74,999 units in the first half of 2014 and continues on pace for a record sales year. 08/05/14 - KIA RACING EXTENDS CHAMPIONSHIP LEAD FOLLOWING PODIUM PERFORMANCES IN ROUNDS 11 AND 12 AT MID-OHIO SPORTS CAR COURSE

Kia Racing scored back-to-back podium finishes during the team’s latest outing for rounds 11 and 12 of the Pirelli World Challenge (PWC) at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. With only four races remaining in the 16-race PWC season, Kia extended its lead in the Grand Touring Sport (GTS) Manufacturer Championship to nine points, ahead of rivals Ford, Chevrolet, Porsche, Nissan and Aston Martin. Scoring third-and fourth-place finishes, Mark Wilkins, driver of the No. 38 B.R.A.K.E.S. Optima turbo, widened his lead in the GTS Driver Championship to 143 points, while teammate Nic Jönsson, pilot of the No. 36 DonorsChoose.org Optima, moved up one spot to second in the title chase following his double-podium weekend.

Coming off the best first half sales performance in company history, Kia Motors America (KMA) today announced record July sales of 52,309 units, a 6.7 percent increase over the same period last year. After launching seven all-new or significantly redesigned vehicles in 2013, Kia’s year-to-date sales are up 7.2 percent, and the brand’s aggressive new product cadence will continue this quarter with the scheduled launches of the all-new Sedona and Soul EV. Since arriving in 2009, U.S. sales of the iconic Soul have exceeded the 500,000 unit mark, and the wildly popular urban passenger vehicle recently topped the Compact MPV segment in the J.D. Power APEAL Study for the third straight year.

07/30/14 - KIA RACING CARRIES CHAMPIONSHIP LEAD TO MID-OHIO SPORTS CAR COURSE FOR ROUNDS 11 AND 12 OF PIRELLI WORLD CHALLENGE

Fresh from victory, the Kia Racing team heads to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, for rounds 11 and 12 of the Pirelli World Challenge (PWC). Canadian-native and Kia Racing driver Mark Wilkins, piloting the No. 38 B.R.AK.E.S. Optima turbo, landed his second win of the 16-race season in his hometown of Toronto just two weeks ago and earned his fifth podium for 2014 during the doubleheader event. 07/21/14 - TORONTO-NATIVE MARK WILKINS SCORES THRILLING VICTORY FOR KIA RACING ON HOME TURF IN ROUND 10 OF THE PIRELLI WORLD CHALLENGE

Toronto, Ontario, native and Kia Racing pilot Mark Wilkins showed championship-caliber grit and tenacity this weekend as he scored two top-five finishes in the No. 38 B.R.A.K.E.S. Optima turbo, including his second win of the 2014 Pirelli World Challenge (PWC) season. Wilkins’ ability to overcome on-track adversity and keep a cool head in the midst of fierce battles during the doubleheader weekend landed him a fourth-place finish in Saturday’s round nine and the top step of the podium for round 10 on Sunday. Kia’s lead in the Manufacturer’s Championship increased to seven points, ahead of Ford, Porsche, Chevrolet, Nissan and Aston Martin. The victory marked Wilkins’ first-career win at his home track and put him back atop the Driver Championship standing.

07/17/14 - KIA MOTORS’ GT4 STINGER CONCEPT AND 2014 SOUL EARN INTERNATIONAL DESIGN EXCELLENCE AWARDS

Kia Motors has built a reputation for world-class design over the last several years, and recently, the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) has added to the Korean brand’s renown with a pair of prestigious design awards. Kia received International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) in the transportation category for both the GT4 Stinger concept vehicle and 2014 Soul, earning Silver and Bronze honors, respectively. Kia received a Bronze IDEA in 2012 for the Kia Rio sub-compact vehicle design.
