The Optima midsize sedan carries over into the 2017 model year with several new compelling features to help keep it a perennial bestseller in the Kia lineup – stellar design, comfort, spirited performance and fantastic equipment. Optima is still offered with three engine choices, including two turbocharged options, and five trim levels LX, LX 1.6T, EX, SX and SXL. For 2017, SX gets standard 18-inch alloy wheels and SXL is now equipped with 18-inch chrome alloy wheels – both were previously optional. In addition, LED dual-projection headlights with Dynamic Bending Light (DBL) and High-Beam Assist (HBA) is standard on SXL and available as part of a new SX Technology Package. And now available on EX trim is the new Premium Plus Package with Advanced Driver Assisted System (ADAS), which includes Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS), Advanced Smart Cruise Control (ASCC), Electronic Parking Brake (EPB), High-Beam Assist (HBA) and Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS).
