Today, Kia America unveiled the Kia Connected Home (TM) at CES 2024, a two-story oasis from the bustling show floor that brings the electric future into the present. The Kia Connected HomeTM is a testament to the power of living with an electric vehicle, featuring immersive demonstrations of the all-electric Kia EV9’s bidirectional vehicle-to-home (V2H) charging capabilities and the EV6’s onboard power generator (V2L) functionality.
KIA AMERICA MAKES EV OWNERSHIP MORE ACCESSIBLE THROUGH NEW EDUCATION EFFORTS
As part of Kia’s focus on popularizing electric vehicles, the fast-growing brand continues its push to make EV ownership easier for more people. Kia America announced the company’s return to Electrify Expo. The nationwide tour will bring together leaders in electrification to discuss the future of the mobility industry. Kicking off in Long Beach, California, on Friday, May 19, attendees will have the opportunity to drive the Kia EV6, which was the winner of the esteemed North American Utility Vehicle of the Year™ award and the GT version, which was recently announced as winner of the 2023 World Performance Car, in addition to the multi award-winning Niro EV. Attendees also will be among the first to see the upcoming all-new EV9, Kia’s first dedicated three-row EV SUV1. Kia will participate in five Electrify Expo 2023 events, including: Long Beach, San Francisco, New York, Seattle and Miami.

Kia America joins cutting-edge mobility companies for Electrify Expo, a series of five local events where leaders in electrification come together to discuss the key challenges, insights, available research, and trends facing the mobility sector as it moves toward an all-electric future. After events earlier this summer in the Long Beach, CA, Seattle and NYC-Metro areas, the series continues October 8-9, at Regatta Park in Miami, where attendees will have the opportunity to experience the Kia EV6 first-hand.
KIA AMERICA OFFERS 500 KILOWATT-HOURS OF COMPLIMENTARY FAST CHARGING TO NIRO EV BUYERS THROUGH ELECTRIFY AMERICA NETWORK
Kia America and Electrify America have announced a collaboration to provide drivers of the all-new second-generation 2023 Kia Niro EV with 500 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of complimentary EV charging at any Electrify America station across the United States. The charging credit can enable Niro EV owners to drive as many as 1,950 miles, depending on driving style and external conditions.

KIA MOTORS AMERICA EXPANDS SOUL EV AVAILABILITY TO FIVE ADDITIONAL STATES
Following the successful launch of the Soul EV late last year in California, Kia Motors America (KMA) is proud to announce it is expanding availability of its fullycharged urban runabout into five new states: Georgia, Texas, Oregon, Washington and Hawaii. Electric vehicle demand has been growing in these states, and consumers there have expressed a lot of interest in Soul EV. And with more than 1,8001 charging stations combined, the robust EV infrastructure within these markets makes battery-powered travel convenient and an increasingly appealing choice for consumers. Within each state, select Kia retailers will be certified to sell and service the Soul EV, and customers will have access to charging stations installed at these facilities. The Soul EV-authorized Kia dealership locations will be announced closer to the Soul EV’s on-sale date in the expansion states later this year. Additional markets are set to come online in 2016.
