ALL-NEW 2011 KIA SORENTO TAKES UP RESIDENCE IN THE BIG APPLE
Kia Motors America (KMA) is moving into one of the world's highest profile advertising arenas New York City's Times Square with a new billboard showcasing the all-new 2011 Kia Sorento CUV. The 60 foot by 40 foot advertisement, located at One Times Square at the intersection of Broadway and Seventh Avenue, is one of the first elements of the largest new product rollout in KMA's history, and will introduce the first Kia vehicle built in the US with both US and foreign parts to more than more 500,000 people every day.

KIA MOTORS AMERICA ANNOUNCES JANUARY SALES
Kia Motors America (KMA) today announced January sales of 22,123 units, highlighted by a strong first-month performance of the brands first U.S.-built1 vehicle the all-new 2011 Sorento CUV which arrived in showrooms on January 4 and was the brands best-selling vehicle for the month with 7,398 units sold. January sales represent a 0.1-percent increase over the same period in 2009.

ZPAN (Zinio.com/ZPAN) is the first cross-publisher ad network for the digital magazine industry and KMA is the first-ever advertiser to leverage ZPAN, reaching more than 45 digital magazines across several categories, including business, mens lifestyle, news, sports and technology. Similar to the way songs are enjoyed digitally, consumers can read online or choose to download popular magazines containing the Kia Sorento ad which is optimized for the screen-size through Zinio. Readers can activate and interact with enhanced features such as audio, video and live links. KIA SORENTO AWARDED "TOP SAFETY PICK" BY INSURANCE INSTITUTE FOR HIGHWAY SAFETY
Joining the 2010 Forte compact sedan and 2010 Soul urban passenger vehicle, the 2011 Sorento compact utility vehicle has been recognized as a Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in the midsize SUV category when built after March 2010. Sorento, which went on sale earlier this year, received the organizations top honor by earning Good ratings the highest achievable in frontal, side, rear and rollover impact crash safety tests. The Sedona minivan also received the IIHS Top Safety Pick and Safest Minivan Ever Tested distinction shortly after its launch in 2006, and again in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
