KIA VEHICLES RANKED HIGHEST ACROSS MULTIPLE CATEGORIES IN INAUGURAL “BEST AUTOS OF 2023” FROM MONEY MAGAZINE
Seven Kia vehicles received the highest honors from the editors of Money in the magazine’s inaugural “Best Autos of 2023” awards. The Carnival MPV, K5, Soul, Sportage, Sportage Hybrid, Stinger, and Telluride each were named “Best Overall and Best Value” in their respective categories, and nine other Kia models were recognized as attribute winners. This is the first time that nearly every Kia model currently on sale was named to a single list of the automotive industry’s top vehicles.

KIA NIRO HEV NAMED BEST CAR OF 2023 BY CARS.COM
The 2023 Kia Niro HEV was named Cars.com’s Best Car of 2023, beating four other vehicles for the top spot. The 2023 Kia Carnival was named Best Family Car of 2023. The 2023 Sorento was nominated for Best SUV of 2023, which is the outlet’s newest award category.

KIA TOPS STRATEGIC VISION 2022 TOTAL QUALITY IMPACT AWARDS
Kia America topped Strategic Vision’s 2022 Total Quality Impact Awards with four models that each won their respective segments. The Kia K5 (Mid-Size Car), Seltos (Entry CUV), Sorento Plug-In Hybrid (Alternative Power Train - Utility), and Carnival (Minivan) were reported to have the fewest problems in the TQI report while all models were lauded for enhanced quality in seat comfort, power, and driver-assist features.

KIA ANNOUNCES 2023 SORENTO PHEV
For the 2023 model year, the Sorento PHEV has been streamlined to one range-topping SX-P trim. While the SX-P was already fully equipped with an upscale interior, technology, standard AWD, and an expansive suite of standard Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including Highway Driving Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance technology, it gains other creature comforts such as a retractable rear door sunshades, a 115-volt inverter that can charge household items such as a laptop, and standard Homelink. With 32 miles of all-electric range, the Sorento PHEV can fully charge its battery in about 3.5 hours when utilizing a Level-2 charger. The Sorento PHEV continues to offer the most passenger room and second-row legroom of any PHEV SUV.
