Kia America topped Strategic Vision’s 2022 Total Quality Impact Awards with four models that each won their respective segments. The Kia K5 (Mid-Size Car), Seltos (Entry CUV), Sorento Plug-In Hybrid (Alternative Power Train - Utility), and Carnival (Minivan) were reported to have the fewest problems in the TQI report while all models were lauded for enhanced quality in seat comfort, power, and driver-assist features.

A wide cross-section of Kia America’s world-class SUVs and sedans received high marks in the J.D. Power 2022 U.S. Initial Quality Study (IQS), with the Forte topping the Compact Car segment for the fourth consecutive year. Five other Kia models – Carnival, K5, Rio, Sportage, and Telluride – each took the number two spot in their respective categories.

The 2023 Carnival MPV is a carryover model with minor interior enhancements to the seat functionality and technology features. The Carnival competes in the Midsize MPV segment, but its combination of SUV styling, exceptional passenger/cargo volume, and practical convenience features also make it uniquely positioned to compete against three-row SUV/crossover models.
