IRVINE, Calif., December 21, 2020 – The countdown to 2021 officially began in New York City’s famed Times Square with the arrival of the “2021” numerals that will light up the sky when the Ball Drops and the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Eve. The “2021” numerals were towed into Times Square by an all-new, 2021 Kia Sorento SUV after a cross-country road-trip that started at Kia’s headquarters in Irvine, California, and covered more than 5,500 miles with stops in 15 states.
