Kia’s Certified Pre-Owned Program (CPO) Recognized for Industry-Leading Warranty and Financing Incentives

IRVINE, Calif., Dec. 19, 2017 — Kia Motors America's (KMA) Certified Pre-Owned program has been named IntelliChoice’s Best Popular Program for the third consecutive year.  The independent report card rates nine essential components to help consumers identify true costs and best values.

IntelliChoice evaluates 25 manufacturer-backed programs and segments the brands into two different categories–Premium and Popular–which reflect the overall market position and price range of their vehicles.  This year’s study included 12 Premium brands and 13 Popular brands.  Nine key components are analyzed including extended manufacturer warranties, used car ownership costs, inspection process comprehensiveness, and special financing incentives.

KMA’s CPO program, administered by JM&A Group, accepts only Kia vehicles that are five years or newer with fewer than 60,000 miles on the odometer, and every vehicle undergoes a meticulous 150-point Quality Assurance inspection by certified Kia technicians.  CPO vehicles also come with a 10-year /100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty1 and 12-month /12,000 mile-Platinum Coverage2.
