KIA MOTORS AMERICA ANNOUNCES RECORD OCTOBER SALES
Kia Motors America (KMA) today announced best-ever October sales with 42,452 units sold, a 12.6-percent increase over the same period in 2011. October once again saw KMA’s U.S.-built* vehicles – the Optima midsize sedan and Sorento CUV – take the top sales honors. Kia’s year-to-date sales are up 17.8-percent over 2011.

KIA MOTORS AMERICA ANNOUNCES BEST-EVER NOVEMBER SALES AND 27th CONSECUTIVE MONTHLY SALES RECORD
Kia Motors America (KMA) has been one of the fastest-growing car companies in the U.S. over the last five years , and November saw the brand achieve its 27th straight month of record sales with 41,055 units sold, a 10.9-percent increase over the same period in 2011. Year-to-date sales are up 17.3 percent over 2011, and the brand achieved another important milestone in November with the sale of its 500,000th vehicle in 2012 – a first for Kia in the U.S. The U.S.-built* Optima midsize sedan has been Kia’s best-selling vehicle each month in 2012, and that trend continued in November with 12,715 units sold, and together with the popular Sorento CUV – also built at Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia – represents more than 40 percent of Kia’s record November volume.

Kia Motors America (KMA), which previously announced it had surpassed its best-ever full-year sales total in less than 11 months, today reported all-time record sales in 2012 of 557,599 vehicles, a 14.9-percent increase over the previous best-ever mark set in 2011. As one of the fastest-growing car companies in the U.S. over the last five years, December sales of 39,178 units helped to extend KMA’s streak of annual market share increases to 18 years.

The U.S.-built* Optima midsize sedan led sales for the 15th consecutive month with 13,195 units sold, while the Sorento CUV also built in West Point, Georgia, posted strong sales of 7,945 units as the significantly redesigned 2014 model began arriving in showrooms.

Kia Motors America (KMA) today reported best-ever May sales of 52,327 units as 2014 Cadenza and Forte sedans – two of the seven all-new or significantly redesigned Kia vehicles scheduled to launch this calendar year – continue to arrive in showrooms nationwide to both critical and consumer acclaim. The U.S.-built* Optima midsize sedan led Kia’s sales for the 18th consecutive month with 15,368 units sold, and together with Sorento CUV, also built in West Point, Georgia*, accounted for more than 40 percent of Kia’s May sales. The Soul urban passenger vehicle also recorded robust monthly sales of 11,420 units.

Kia Motors America (KMA) today reported sales in excess of 50,000 units for the second straight month, as the all-new 2014 Cadenza reached the 1,000 unit mark for the first time following the launch of the flagship sedan’s national marketing campaign. With 50,536 total vehicles sold, the U.S.-built* Optima midsize sedan was the brand’s best seller for the 19th consecutive month, and together with the Sorento CUV – also built in West Point, Georgia – accounted for more than 40 percent of Kia’s June sales. The Soul urban passenger vehicle also recorded strong monthly sales of 11,287 units.
