John Crowe, Vice President, Service and Aftersale Operations

John Crowe is vice president, service and aftersale operations for Kia Motors America (KMA). He joined KMA in January 2008.

Crowe directs and manages all aspects of service including customer satisfaction initiatives, retail fixed operations development, product quality, technical service operations, warranty administration, consumer affairs and Kia University.

Crowe comes to Kia following a successful 30-year career in fixed operations with automotive, motor sports and recreational vehicle manufacturers. Most recently he served as assistant vice president, parts and accessories at Yamaha Motor Corporation, where he was responsible for sales, marketing, product planning, engineering, quality assurance, purchasing, and distribution logistics. Prior to joining Yamaha, he held senior management positions at Fleetwood Enterprises, Porsche Cars North America, Mazda Motors of America, and Subaru of New England. He began his automotive career at Ford Motor Company as a parts and service zone manager.

Crowe holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Lowell Technology Institute at the University of Massachusetts and a MBA from Babson College.

John and his wife Karen have three children. He enjoys golf, exercise, and spending time with his family.
