David Kim, Chief Financial Officer

David Kim is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Kia Motors America (KMA). He joined Kia Motors Corporation (Seoul, Korea) in July, 1986.

Kim, a 21-year veteran of the automotive industry, previously served as CFO of Kia Motors Australia and Kia Motors Canada. His current responsibilities include executive-level supervision and management of KMA's Finance department.

Prior to becoming overseas-subsidiary CFO, Kim had served in diverse management positions at Kia Motors Corporation: International Finance, Cost Accounting, General Accounting & Overseas Business Management.

Kim received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Seoul, Korea. He currently resides in Irvine, California with his wife and two sons.
