Alex Fedorak, Director of Public Relations
Alex Fedorak is director of public relations at Kia Motors America (KMA). He joined KMA in January 2006.
Fedorak oversees all product and corporate communications for KMA, including new product launches, media relations, product publicity and internal communications.
He brings with him more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, the majority of which he spent at Subaru of America, most recently as a consultant.
Prior to his most recent role with Subaru, Fedorak served as executive vice president of A&M Specialists, a leading press vehicle logistics company, where he headed day-to-day operations. He joined A&M from a 16-year tenure at Subaru, where he served as senior product public relations manager, overseeing media introductions and ongoing media relations, development of product and technical information and management of the Subaru press fleet. He began his career at Subaru in the technical training department.
Aside from being a former board of director for the International Motor Press Association (IMPA) and a past advisory council member for the Montgomery Community College automotive technical training program, Fedorak has been a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) for more than 22 years.
Fedorak is originally from Allentown, Pa., and currently resides in Laguna Beach, Calif. He and his wife, Victoria, have two children, Michael and Christopher. In his spare time, he enjoys collecting and repairing antique clocks and sailing.
